Susan, BS RS Student
“Currently I am pursuing my BSRS degree for my own personal satisfaction. As a Product Specialist for a company that makes bone density equipment I am not required to have a degree. My practical experience performing bone density exams is one of the factors that helped me attain my current job; my eagerness and extreme willingness to travel every week also helped.
With the ever changing economy I want to be prepared for a new career if necessary. If the day comes that I can no longer travel for my current employer I would like to teach in a radiologic technologist program. With my BSRS degree, RT license, and teaching experience as an Applications Specialist I will be qualified to become an instructor in a radiologic technologist program.
My heart belongs to radiology. I love what I do and have been very fortunate in the opportunities that my R.T. degree has brought to me. From the first day in class many, many years ago I knew that radiology was for me. I would love to be able to pass on my love for the profession to a class of students.”
