I’m interested in applying for your school. However, I’m using the post-911 GI bill to pay, does this school support this???
V/R,

Yes, we do support the post-911 GI bill. You can find out more about our financial aid options here. Starr Bender is the contact for VA and GI Bill benefits, and can be emailed at starr.bender[at]fhchs.edu.
I have specialization in a bachelor’s degree in Physics and one year specialization in Radiologic Protection and Nuclear Safety, so my question is – may I apply for this program?
To be eligible for our BS in RS program, you must possess an associate degree in Radiography, Radiologic Technology, Radiologic Sciences or Nuclear Medicine Technology from a regionally-accredited institution, or a JRCERT accredited program and hold current registration by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB). You can read more about our admissions requirements here or contact us at 1-888-768-6276.
In the previous question, you answered that to be eligible for the BS in RS program, you must possess an associate degree. Is it the same for the BS in DMS program? are you required to already have an associate degree in the field?
Our BS in DMS program does not require that you have an Associate’s degree, however you must be certified in Sonography by one of the three credentialing organizations (ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI). You can learn more about the requirement for the BS in DMS degree here. Or you may call 1-888-768-6276 to speak with a Distance Enrollment Specialist about your specific qualifications.
I am interested in getting my degree in sonography, I currently have a EKG tech degree. Can I go straight to school even though I am not currently a sonographer? What classes do I need to take in order to go to the school.. Thanks
In order to qualify for our online BS in DMS degree, you do have to be a registered sonographer. If you are interested in taking the necessary classes to become registered, you can reach out to the Florida Hospital College campus by visting http://www.fhchs.edu or calling (407) 303-7742.
How can this RS degree be completed 100% distance with no clinical hours?
Since the degree requires that one is already registered with the ARRT or NMTCB, a student would have already completed their clinical hours in getting their AS degree or certification. The Bachelor’s degree concentrates on high-level theory and technique, emerging technologies, and management skills.
iam not able to contact you.

To be accepted in the BSRS program, do i have to be a graduate from an ARRT AND JRCERT accredited program, or it can be from either or?
Thank You
The program you graduated from must be JRCERT accredited, however you must be registered with the ARRT or NMTCB to qualify for our program. If you would like more detailed information about whether or not you might qualify for our program, you can call 1-888-768-6276 and press 2 when prompted.
I have an AS degree in Radiologic Technology, 1973, but retired in the early ’90′s. I do not have a current registration with the ARRT, but would like to reenter the profession with a BS degree. Can this program help someone like me get recertified as a Rad Tech who has not been working in the field for over 20 yrs?
Unfortunately, our program will not help you become re-certified as a Rad Tech. In order to enter the program, we require that all of our students currently be registered with the ARRT in Radiography. You can contact the ARRT directly at 651-687-0048 x8560 and they will be able to let you know what you need to do to be eligible to sit for the exam.
If I already graduated from an accredited ECHO program, will you accept those credits. Also if I have credits from a community college will you accept those credits too?
We do accept transfer credits from other regionally accredited programs. In order to determine exactly how many credits would transfer, an official transfer credit evaluation would need to be completed. You can contact us at 1-888-768-6276 to get the process started.
I am interested in pursing a career in Nursing. I am a resident in the US Virgin Islands with a H4 visa. I would really appreciate if someone will give me advice on how to go through the process of it all. Thank you.
Our program is a completion degree, so in order to be eligible, you would already have to be a Registered Nurse. The best option to get into the Nursing field is to find a local campus program that offers an AS in Nursing degree. You can find accredited programs through the NLNAC at this link http://www.nlnac.org/forms/directory_search.htm.
I am very interested in the BS program. I need to know what is the cost
Thank you,
Donna
The cost is $315 per credit hour, plus a per-trimester matriculation fee of $290.
I’m interested in Radiology..
You can contact a Distance Enrollment Specialist at 1-888-768-6276 and the will be able to answer you questions about the program and walk you through the application process.
Do I have to do clinicals in the RN to BSN program?
There is no clinical requirement in the RN to BSN program, as we recognize that you have already completed clinicals to become an RN. There is a practicum component where you apply what you’ve learned to your current work setting. You can speak with a Distance Enrollment Specialist in more detail by calling 1-888-768-6276.
If you do the dms program online..where do you do your clinicals?
Since this is an online completion degree, meaning you already have to be registered in sonography to be eligible for our program, there is no clinical component to our curriculum. Clinicals would have already been completed in a certificate, diploma or associate’s program.
I am currently a student at Piedmont Technical College in South Carolina. I am going for my associates in Radiologic Technology, but I am very interested in furthering my education to become a Radiologist Assistant. I know that I will need to gain a Master’s degree to even be eligible for this career, but I am curious as to what steps I could take at this institution to reach my goals. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I am writing to express concern on this chest xray, you have posted advertising your program. I would not want someone to put this image through of me. It is not an acceptable photo. The tops and bottoms are clipped which could contain valuable diagnostic information.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Our marketing team is looking into replacing this picture with a proper photograph of a chest xray.
